  • Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $15-$17 per hour plus daily cash tips.
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends. 6:45 AM – 2:45 PM.
  • Benefits: Eligible for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and the company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on job classification, length of employment and number of hours worked. Benefits are subject to change. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.
  • Summary

    The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely, assisting with luggage, and ensuring timely vehicle release.

    Essential Functions
    • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients. Greet guests within five feet.
    • Use the appropriate salutation of the day and proper Towne Park phone etiquette. Report to designated areas when not completing tasks.
    • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously. Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed.
    • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions. Deliver messages, items, or guest amenities when requested. Shuttle guests to approved locations.
    • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures. Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collect claim checks before issuing keys.
    • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt for all vehicles in the valet system.
    • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary.
    Qualifications Education
    • High school diploma or GED.
    Required Licensure, Certification, etc.
    • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of application or within a commutable distance.
    Work Experience
    • One month related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Knowledge
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
    Skills
    • Ability to read and write standard English.
    • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
    • Write simple correspondence.
    • Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
    • Add and subtract three‑digit numbers and perform operations with American money.
    • Understand 24 hour and military time systems.
    • Understand rates applicable to time passed.
    • Operate a manual transmission (highly desirable).
    • Perform parallel parking.
    SCOPE Authority To Act
    • Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions and are verified frequently. Decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines.
    Budget Responsibility
    • Employee has control over resources available only.
    WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Workers must be able to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Physical Requirements

    Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly.

    Working Environment

    Majority of work outdoors for extended periods, including entire shift. Employees subject to extreme heat and cold weather. Weather protection may be provided but is not guaranteed.

    Travel

    Travel up to 5% may be required.
