Summary

The Epic Security Coordinator works in conjunction with the Epic team members and trainers regarding workflow analysis, design, and build sessions with Subject Matter Experts (including physicians, nursing, respiratory care, pharmacy, and other ancillary or business services).

40 Hours/Week

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Occasional Evenings and Weekends

On-Call Rotation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Epic team members and trainers on workflow analysis, design, and build sessions with Subject Matter Experts.
• Provide Epic user security and access support, including user provisioning in accordance with ACH security and regulatory guidelines.
• Support the Change Control Process by reviewing data migration of all Security owned master files.
• Coordinate with the SER/Provider Provisioning Security Team and the Non-Epic Security Team on security issues.
• Lead monthly Epic Security Workgroup meetings and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as required.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with Epic User Security Module design, development, configuration, testing, and support.
• Experience in project management is preferred.
• Experience with Epic or other EHR software is required.
• Ability to work with all organizational levels is required.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EPIC certification required within one year of hire.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
