Field Technician II

Field Technician II is responsible for onsite support for our clients including servers, desktops, laptops, network components, and software. Provide level 2 on‑site support.

Job Type: Full‑time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• Maintain and manage Windows Servers
• Support for Microsoft Server products, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, RDS
• VMWare and VCenter experience and/or certifications is a plus
• Configuration and support of server functions including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and more
• Service and support of network components:
  Internet connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and security
• Strong working knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting for Unifi, Sonicwall, Meraki, Sophos Devices
• Configuration and support of Veeam backup services and devices
• Experience using Remote Monitoring tools
• Support for desktop operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
• Hardware installation and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Communicate to clients:
  Provide detailed ticket notes, ability to explain issues in a way a client can understand
• Remain current on IT trends and new technologies

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sysadmin/Helpdesk role
• Strong customer service and communicating effectively
• Able to manage incidents involving different technologies and vendors from inception to resolution
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
• Minimum High School Degree/GED
• Technical certifications: MS/O365;
  Network Certification preferred (Network+ or Cisco certification)
