Senior NetSuite Solution Architect

Job Summary: The Net Suite Solution Architect is responsible for leading the functional design, implementation, optimization, and support of Oracle Net Suite ERP solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and other functional areas to evaluate business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable Net Suite solutions that support clients financial, supply chain, and operational processes. The Net Suite Solution Architect leads discovery, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support activities, while promoting standardization, process improvement, and effective system adoption across client environments.

• Leads and supports discovery sessions with client stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Analyzes current client business processes and performs fit-gap assessments against Net Suite standard functionality
• Designs end-to-end functional solutions, including business process maps, functional design documentation, and configuration specifications tailored to client needs
• Defines functional architecture standards, solution design principles, and configuration best practices for Net Suite implementations and enhancements
• Develops future-state business process designs and operating models that align business requirements with Net Suite capabilities
• Oversees configuration of Net Suite solutions functionality, including general ledger, chart of accounts, subsidiaries, tax nexuses, custom segments, forms, fields, roles, and permissions
• Develops, tests, and optimizes workflow automation solutions using Net Suite Suite Flow
• Leads data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration activities using approved Net Suite tools and import methods
• Coordinates with technical teams and third-party vendors to support integrations, enhancements, and system changes
• Develops user acceptance testing scenarios and scripts, manages testing cycles, and resolves functional defects
• Creates training materials and delivers end-user training to support adoption and effective use of the platform
• Serves as the primary escalation point for complex functional issues, advanced troubleshooting, and Net Suite bi-annual release impacts
• Develops and maintains reporting solutions using Saved Searches, Financial Reports, and Suite Analytics Workbooks
• Advises stakeholders on best practices related to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes
• Supports platform governance, controls, and standardization efforts to align with accounting, operational, and business requirements
• Collaborates with Enterprise Business Applications leadership to define priorities, roadmaps, risks, and implementation plans for ERP enhancements
• Identifies opportunities to improve system performance, process efficiency, and scalability across client Net Suite environments
• Maintains documentation related to configuration decisions, business rules, support procedures, and process standards for client delivery
• Up to 50% travel required

• May supervise project resources, consultants, and third-party implementation partners, as appropriate
• May supervise and provide guidance, knowledge transfer, and functional direction to team members and stakeholders, as appropriate

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, preferred

• Ten (10) or more years of Net Suite experience leading projects and technical teams in a consulting or professional services capacity, required
• Three (3) or more years of experience supporting pre-sales activities, defining project scope, estimating delivery timelines, and contributing to SOW development within a consulting practice, required
• Experience leading or serving as the principal functional lead for at least two (2) full-lifecycle Net Suite ERP implementations or major platform overhauls, required
• Experience leading business requirements gathering, discovery workshops, and fit-gap analysis across cross-functional stakeholder groups, required
• Experience designing and configuring Net Suite solutions across Financials, One World, Inventory Management, Order Management, and CRM, required
• Experience supporting core business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, required
