Are you a recent law school graduate looking to work with experienced attorneys and paralegals who will give you opportunities to further your legal career? If so, we are looking for you! Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will support us by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, and assisting with legal counsel.

Compensation
: $80,000 – $100,000 yearly plus profit‑sharing bonus. We offer medical insurance and a 401(k) plan.

• Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts for use in proceedings and contract negotiations.
• Keep files organized so that the most recent updates are accessible to attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and provide general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys.
• Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.
• Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently determine the best course of action.
• Onboard new clients.
• Attend Meetings of Creditors for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
• Attend court hearings.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and trustees.
• Follow up with clients for documents.
• Review petitions and schedules.
• Analyze clients' financial situations.
• Provide solutions to clients.
• Prepare motions and briefs.
• Willing to pursue a career in bankruptcy.

• Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association).
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school.
• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base.
• Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Successful completion of the bar exam.
