Senior Associate Attorney

We are a growing boutique law firm based in Akron, Ohio, representing clients locally and across the country in matters primarily involving business and real estate law. We pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative, down-to-earth environment where attorneys can do excellent work without the grind of big-firm billable expectations.

We are seeking to hire a full-time, experienced Senior Associate Attorney, primarily to help lead and grow our litigation practice (although work on nonlitigation matters will also be part of the job). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator who wants meaningful responsibility, autonomy, and the ability to shape the future of a department within a supportive firm structure.

• Handle business, real estate, and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution with minimal supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Advise clients and develop case strategy in collaboration with partners and other team members.
• Help shape internal litigation procedures and contribute to the development of the firm’s litigation department.
• Assist with matters unrelated to litigation, but litigation will be the main focus.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active license to practice in Ohio.
• Minimum 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably in business, commercial, or real estate matters.
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working cooperatively within a team.
• Strong communication skills with clients.

Pay will be commensurate with other attorneys of similar experience and skill level in the community. This position will also be a partner-track position with potential for origination and performance bonuses.
