Job Summary

The Inventory Lead is responsible for supporting their Inventory Manager/Supervisor with supervising and maintaining accurate inventory control measures. Providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members, Inventory Lead fosters a positive, upbeat, and respectful environment. The associate will regularly cross the physical quantities with system quantities and employ best inventory control practices that ensure these qualities are aligned.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assess each room to determine that the plants are all in the correct area.
  • Scan each room to assure accuracy.
  • Record all plant movement and stage changes to ensure they are accurately recorded.
  • Work closely with Cultivation Lead, Cultivation Inventory Assistant Manager, and assist in any needs they may have for the day.
  • Be available during odd hours to accomplish end‑of‑month tasks.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
  • Work collectively with other team members and assist in any other departments as assigned.
  • Perform inventory counts, weekly audits, and all necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all areas of the facility, ensuring all inventory is put away, secured, and the area is clean.
  • Participate in the flow of physical stock for order processing.
  • Report any irregularities to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
  • Provide regular reporting as required by internal operations and state requirements.
  • Communicate any variance issues or missing information that would prevent an inventory order from being properly imputed to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others, while also able to work with limited supervision.
  • Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • Minimum 21 years of age (or per state regulations).
  • Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
  • Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Education
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience

1‑3 years’ experience working in inventory, logistics and/or a cannabis retail setting.
