About the Role

As an Area Manager
, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of your assigned accounts. You’ll lead, coach, and support staff while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is vital — you’ll help us maintain strong customer relationships and grow our business.

You must be comfortable being on call and available on weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily huddles + weekly meetings
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Track customer interactions in CRM software
  • Supervise and support reporting supervisors
  • Ensure high-quality cleaning and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct inspections and audits
  • Manage quarterly reviews
  • Hire, train, develop, and coach team members
  • Ensure proper staffing + supply levels at all locations
  • Partner with HR to fill job openings
  • Hold team members accountable when needed
  • Identify employees ready for promotion or additional hours
  • Manage labor budgets and meet labor goals
  • Improve cleaning processes for efficiency
  • Maintain safety compliance
  • Oversee call‑off coverage
  • Communicate important updates to staff
  • Handle customer complaints promptly
  • Ensure all team objectives are completed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Director of Operations
Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be 18+
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Able to work independently and be dependable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication + listening skills
  • Leadership or janitorial experience preferred but not required — we’ll train you!
Working Conditions
  • Occasional exposure to heights, fumes, or airborne particles
  • Some environments can be loud
  • Must be comfortable with varied building conditions
