* You will be responsible for supporting mix plant trials for developing new sources of raw materials and for evaluating second sources.
* You will be responsible for providing troubleshooting support, driving process improvements, and enhancing overall plant efficiency.
* You will be responsible for managing the smooth introduction of new compounds and processes from the planning stage to final production release.
* You will be responsible for reviewing daily compound properties to achieve the first-pass% goal and ensure consistency in results.
* You will be responsible for releasing compounds and components in line with GY corporate GMS / QAI guidelines.
* You will be responsible for managing the disposition of non-conforming components and compounds in accordance with quality standards.
* You will be responsible for working with the plant production and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
* You will be responsible for supporting mix trials related to cost reduction and savings projects (MDPO).
* You will be responsible for enhancing mixing efficiency and ensuring the uniformity of compounds.
* You will be responsible for driving waste reduction initiatives, particularly in friction and milling processes.
* You will be responsible for ensuring no deviations exist between corporate and local book sheets of compound formulations.
* You will be responsible for controlling environmental spillage, minimizing waste, and promoting reduce–reuse–recycle practices.
