• Scrap rates for respective zones and beyond
• Completion of mold change paperwork and First Piece Approval Form
• Monitor actual cycle times and efficiency
• Maintain process parameter sheets (information to engineers)
• Assist with mold changes / material changes alongside the technical team
• Identify root causes of problems, correct if possible (press / robot / EOAT) and provide feedback to engineers
• Logbook entry and passing down of shift issues
• Keep machines clean (purge / pellets / parts & runners in press)
• Identify root cause and record proper downtime codes, notifying proper personnel
• Clean tools in the assigned area each shift
• Ensure proper break times
• Train technical team members in procedures and proper startup of presses/tools
• Mentor apprentices when present
• Other duties as needed

• Prior processing experience or technical training, 3–5 years required
• High School Diploma or GED required
