Punch Press Die Setter​/Operator

The hours for a 1st Shift Position - flexible hours - M-TH 10 hrs or M-F 8 hrs or M-TH 9 hrs & F 4 hrs - starting time can be discussed.

This position is responsible for the proper setup, operation and maintenance of equipment with Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, and Single-Hit tooling.

• Safety - knowledge, understanding and ability to follow lockout/tagout procedure/program, press guarding, pullbacks and PPE
• Stage work site and prepare press of setup - follow procedures and setup area for production
• Prepare die(s) for installation
• Setup press and install die(s)
• Prepare and adjust uncoiler and straightener
• Make a quality piece part
• Run production when all machines have been setup
• Other duties as assigned

• Basic blueprint reading
• Basic reading and math skills
• At least 5 years Punch Press Operator experience in a Metal Stamping environment
