About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and production equipment in an industrial environment. This hands-on role supports reliable operations by diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts that keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and production equipment.
- Perform electrical diagnostics on motors, sensors, controls, and panels.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support process improvements and reliability initiatives beyond reactive repairs.
- Document completed maintenance activities and work performed.
- Follow safety procedures and safe work practices at all times.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work on industrial machinery, controls, and production equipment.
- Experience diagnosing equipment issues independently and efficiently.
- Self-directed approach with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking.
- Experience with industrial controls, automation, or PLC troubleshooting.
- Interest in continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
