Machine Operator, Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Holub Recycling, Inc. / City Scrap & Salvage is hiring an experienced Equipment Operator to support our recycling and scrap-metal operations. We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who is comfortable operating heavy equipment in a busy outdoor environment.
The Equipment Operator will assist with loading, unloading, moving, sorting, and organizing scrap metal and recyclable materials throughout the yard. Additional responsibilities include loading trucks and containers, performing daily equipment inspections, maintaining clean work areas, and communicating mechanical or safety concerns to management. Operators must remain alert while working around employees, customers, trucks, and other equipment.
Previous heavy-equipment operating experience is preferred. Experience in scrap metal, recycling, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, public works, or another industrial environment is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions and able to follow established safety practices.
