• Location: Akron, Ohio (44304) – Ohio nursing jobs
• Unit: 7 East Med/Surg Oncology (14 beds)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
• Start Date: December 14, 2025
• End Date: February 14, 2026
• Contract Duration: 9 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:5 (occasionally up to 1:7)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required) – Registered Nurse jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience within the last year (must be documented on resume)
• Proficient in IV starts and phlebotomy
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Chemo certification preferred but not required
• Interview required; please provide availability
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed; no block scheduling

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg oncology unit
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and administer medications as ordered
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and communicate with the healthcare team
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families
