Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a current OH or compact license and recent permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Care for adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation required; two attempts maximum allowed to pass
• Annual and specialty-specific modules required before start and annually thereafter
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed prior to the start date
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility’s nicotine-free policy
• Travelers may work a maximum of 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location and require a 6-month break before returning, unless otherwise approved
• First-time travelers are eligible for this assignment
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate

• Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and active
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• No license hits accepted; no open background check cases allowed
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
