Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: January 30, 2026
Location: Akron, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other holiday

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 18 months of permanent PCU or Step-Down experience required
• Recent PCU/Step-Down experience within the last 18 months strongly preferred
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One supervisory reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in PCU/Step-Down specialty
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to complete pre-start compliance modules and onsite fingerprinting prior to start date
