American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring 12 months of PCU/stepdown experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other holiday coverage required

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum 12 months of permanent PCU/stepdown experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with acceptable scores required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required

• Provide nursing care within the Progressive Care Unit
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check findings reviewed by the facility; open cases and license hits not accepted
• Permanent candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview process
