American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS preferred
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Background check must show no open cases and no hits on professional license

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment will be completed during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is generally required
• Travelers who remain on continuous contract for at least 1 year or return in a subsequent year may be required to complete annual hands-on competency training
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
