- Perform first-piece inspections and dimensional measurements to support production approval processes.
- Conduct initial part inspections using fixtures, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify, escalate, and help contain nonconforming materials on the production floor to prevent quality issues.
- Perform incoming material inspections and complete all required documentation.
- Conduct outgoing product inspections and generate inspection reports.
- Identify and escalate supplier quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Manage and maintain containment areas for nonconforming materials.
- Calibrate, maintain, and verify measuring instruments, gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment.
- Complete additional inspection, testing, and measurement activities as assigned.
- Support workplace organization, cleanliness, and 6S initiatives.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities and other quality-related duties as needed.
