The Stocker ensures all products are delivered to their assigned department or area and may pack out and stock merchandise to maintain continuous availability for customers. They greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, helping them select and retrieve products from the shelves.

• Remove pallets from delivery trucks using a scooter or pallet/pump jack.
• Stage the pallets and merchandise for supervisor inspection to meet HACCP regulations.
• Break down vendor pallets and separate products for different departments.
• Secure product on pallets by properly stocking merchandise and wrapping.
• Complete block tags with item number and date of delivery and attach the block tag to the pallets to ensure proper identification and rotation.
• Move pallets to designated departments.
• Maintain a clean work area by promptly handling spills and disposing of debris.
• Perform required safety checks of equipment before use.
• Inform supervisor of any safety concerns.
• Provide basic maintenance to equipment, such as charging electric equipment.
• Provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with loading and off‑loading of product as needed.
• Assist customers with product location and detailed information when needed.

• Perform other work‑related duties as required and assigned.

• Ambient conditions largely depend on outside temperature; receiving doors are kept mostly open. Cold areas (Deli, Produce, Meat Departments) may require entry.
• Industrial vehicles (forklifts, HiLo) move material throughout the warehouse.
