TitleInside Sales/Stocklist Associate
Responsibilities- Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Serve as the main contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and outstanding service.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell, contributing to revenue growth.
- Stock listing and Technical Support:
- Prepare detailed material lists for fire protection projects using Hydra Tech software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quotes align with fabrication capabilities and customer requirements.
- Notify purchasing of material needs based on project quotes.
- Business Development:
- Proactively expand the customer base and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Support strategies to position the company as a leader in fire protection fabrication.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with fabrication, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Compile reports to track sales performance, customer retention, and operational improvements.
- 1+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field; experience in fire protection or construction is a plus.
- Familiarity with stocklisting processes; experience with Hydra Tech software is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or industry‑specific software experience is a plus.
- Office‑based role with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing environments with noise, dust, and temperature variations.
- Some travel may be required to meet customers or attend training.
Akron, Ohio – Monday to Friday. Day shift: 9 AM – 6 PM
