Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer at our Akron, Ohio distribution center. The role requires a sharp eye to monitor security systems and protect the facility.

• Shift schedule:
  • Full‑time, Thursday through Monday, 3rd Shift, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Full‑time, Sunday through Thursday, 1st Shift, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Full‑time, Tuesday through Saturday, 2nd Shift, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Full‑time, Friday and Saturday, 1st Shift, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
    Sunday and Monday, 2nd Shift, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.;
    Wednesday, 3rd Shift, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an intensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong technology proficiency
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
