Fence Installer Lead – Superior Fence & Rail of Akron

We are looking for experienced fence installers. Individuals or subcontractors are encouraged to apply. Experienced in-house installers can make $20–$30 an hour depending on experience and ability.

• Complete pre‑departure truck/trailer inspection to ensure that the crew is supplied with proper tools and materials.
• Assign and supervise the crew with tasks associated with the fence installation.
• Establish locations for the fence and gather information needed to avoid conflicts with utilities.
• Interpret and follow instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Properly instruct and supervise the crew regarding safety and equipment operation.
• Maintain professionalism of installers and respond immediately to employee and customer needs.
• Complete all administrative tasks assigned, including disciplinary actions and weekly assessments of crew members.
• Interact with customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of fence installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Must pass a background check (no recent felonies).
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Expertise in all areas of the company’s Installer Assessment Form.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication.
• Must read plans, follow verbal instructions, and obey safety regulations.

Full‑time, $18.33 – $28.00 per hour, 35–50 hours per week.

Work hours:

6:45 am – 6:00 pm Monday‑Thursday, 6:45 am – Noon Fridays (as needed).

Monday – Friday. Construction site, in‑person, outdoor work.
