Elevator Installer

Overview

Elevator Installer in Akron, Ohio, USA. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining elevators in various buildings and structures. This is a full-time position in the city of Akron, Ohio. We welcome applicants from all nationalities who are fluent in English and have relevant experience in elevator installation.

• Install and assemble elevator components according to blueprints and specifications
• Test and adjust elevator systems to ensure proper functioning
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on elevators
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with elevator systems
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each installation or repair job

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator installation or a related field
• Familiarity with blueprints, electrical wiring, and other technical documents
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects as needed
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
