Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform diagnostic tests on HVAC systems using specialized tools like pressure gauges and multimeters to identify the root cause of malfunctions. You will conduct routine preventative maintenance such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts to ensure system efficiency. Repair or replace worn or defective system components, including motors, compressors, and thermostats, following manufacturer guidelines.

Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in accordance with local codes and engineering specifications. Handle and manage refrigerants, including system charging and recovery, in compliance with all environmental and safety regulations. Maintain detailed service records for each client, documenting all repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks performed. Educate customers on the proper use of their HVAC systems and provide recommendations for improving energy efficiency.

Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including proper handling of tools and equipment, to prevent accidents and injuries on the job.

Essential Skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
