Plasterboard Worker

We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Akron. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard and drywall in commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality work. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Measure, cut, and install plasterboard according to building plans
• Repair or replace damaged plasterboard
• Install insulation, vapour barriers, and soundproofing materials
• Use hand and power tools to secure plasterboard panels
• Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to create smooth seams
• Sand down rough areas and ensure surfaces are even for painting or wallpapering
• Clean up job site at the end of each day

• Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, measuring tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to read building plans and follow instructions accurately
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic English proficiency required
