Plasterboard Worker
We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Akron. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard on various construction projects. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using appropriate tools and techniques
- Apply joint tape and compound to create smooth and seamless surfaces
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas of plasterboard
- Follow safety protocols when working at heights or with power tools
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing plasterboard
- Skilled in applying joint compound for a smooth finish
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working with power tools and at heights
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as needed
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this full-time position.
LocationThis job is located in Akron, known for its vibrant arts scene, outdoor recreation opportunities, and affordable cost of living. While we prefer someone who is already located in Akron or nearby areas, we are open to providing relocation assistance for the right candidate.
