Senior Accountant - El-Ain, UAE (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in El-Ain, UAE. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards, and providing financial analysis and reporting to management.

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, inventory management, and treasury functions
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budgeted targets and provide insights to management
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and handle tax filings as required
• Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash balances to support business operations
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as well as periodic business plans
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits as well as internal auditors for process improvements
• Mentor junior staff members on accounting processes, procedures, and systems

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or US GAAP)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Indian nationality preferred
