Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company in El-Ain. They will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and provide insights to support strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Support the development of financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably with experience in a supervisory role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs (Quick Books, SAP)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proactive attitude with a desire for continuous learning
