The Administrator I provides comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in the College of Engineering. The role is responsible for coordinating office operations, managing official correspondence and records, scheduling meetings and appointments, supporting student services, handling administrative transactions, and maintaining confidential documentation. The position also coordinates and administers student affairs events, workshops, orientations, awareness campaigns, competitions, ceremonies, and other student engagement activities, including event planning, logistics, communications, documentation, and reporting.
The incumbent collaborates with students, faculty, administrative departments, student clubs, and external partners to ensure the efficient delivery of student affairs services and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in data management and reporting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in higher education or university administration.
- Experience coordinating events, student activities, or administrative projects.
- Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing official correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience using university administrative systems is an advantage.
