Mason Supervisor

A mason supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of masons who are skilled in building and repairing structures using bricks stones and other materials. They are typically employed in the construction industry and work on projects such as buildings walls pathways and other structures.

• Supervise a team of masons providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high quality standards
• Read blueprints and plans to determine project specifications
• Plan work schedules and assign tasks to team members
• Inspect work progress to ensure it is in line with project plans and specifications
• Train new masons on techniques safety procedures and company policies
• Order materials needed for projects and maintain inventory levels
• Monitor budget and expenses for each project
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on job sites
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team

• Prior experience as a mason or in a supervisory role in the construction industry
• Knowledge of building codes safety regulations and construction methods
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project plans
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success
