Licensed Dental Assistant- Job Summary
Provide professional chairside assistance to dentists during examinations, treatments, and dental procedures. Prepare dental instruments, materials, equipment, and treatment rooms before and after procedures. Assist with general dentistry and orthodontic procedures as required. Ensure proper infection prevention, sterilisation, disinfection, and clinical waste management. Prepare and support patients before, during, and after dental treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Monitor dental supplies and ensure instruments and equipment are properly maintained and available.
Provide professional, courteous, and patient-centred service at all times. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and applicable DOH requirements. Participate in mandatory training, competency assessments, quality improvement, and patient safety activities. Work effectively with dentists and the wider dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Valid UAE Dental Assistant license or eligibility. Previous dental clinic experience preferred. Experience in general dentistry and/or orthodontics is an advantage. Good English communication and interpersonal skills. Strong teamwork, organisation, and attention to detail. Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude.
