Consultant Interventional Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled consultant interventional radiologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra Region. The successful candidate will provide advanced image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Perform a wide range of image-guided minimally invasive procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
• Conduct procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, embolization, thrombolysis, vascular access, biopsies, drainages, ablations, and other interventional radiology treatments.
• Evaluate patients, formulate treatment plans, and provide pre-procedural consultations and post-procedural follow-up care.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy to support interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with vascular surgery, oncology, hepatology, nephrology, urology, trauma, emergency medicine, and other specialties to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards, and case discussions.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and international best practices.
• Supervise junior physicians, fellows, and radiology staff as required.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education activities.
• Participate in on-call services for emergency interventional radiology procedures.

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited residency in diagnostic radiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in interventional radiology from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized qualification in interventional radiology.
• DOH license/eligibility is preferred.
