Job Description
Serve as an Academic Intervention Specialist by assessing the educational needs of exceptional children, designing and delivering individualized intervention plans, and supporting their academic development. The role involves analyzing strengths and areas of need, providing evidence-based recommendations and consultations, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team at the Mouza Bint Suhail Center for Exceptional Children to ensure holistic, child-centered support and optimal learning outcomes for each child.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
- A Master’s or Doctorate in Special Education is preferred.
- Relevant professional license from the local authority (if applicable).
Demonstrates strong knowledge of gifted education frameworks and identification models, with a solid understanding of STEAM based and project based learning. Skilled in developing ALPs and monitoring student growth, supported by effective communication, collaboration, and family engagement abilities. Possesses strong data analysis, organizational, and leadership competencies, and upholds high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and service quality.
Preferred Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of experience in assessing and teaching exceptional children.
- Proven experience in delivering educational support and intervention tailored to individual student needs.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
