Assessment Specialist

Job Description

To oversee the operational and technical functions of the Assessment Centre, including assessment systems, examination technologies, invigilation processes, and assessment quality assurance activities. The position supports the implementation of innovative assessment solutions and ensures that assessment practices comply with institutional requirements and international standards in medical education assessment.

• Administer and maintain assessment software platforms and examination systems.
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and delivery of examinations across CMHS programs.
• Lead the implementation, testing, and evaluation of new assessment technologies and digital assessment solutions.
• Oversee examination logistics and ensure the smooth operation of assessment activities.
• Coordinate, train, and supervise invigilators to ensure compliance with examination regulations and procedures.
• Monitor examination security, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Develop and maintain assessment-related standard operating procedures.
• Generate assessment reports and maintain assessment databases and records.
• Support data analysis and reporting related to assessment outcomes.
• Provide technical support to faculty and staff on assessment systems and processes.
• Support quality assurance and accreditation requirements related to assessment.
• Recommend and implement improvements to assessment processes and technologies.
• Ensure assessment activities align with best practices and international standards in medical and health professions education.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, Health Professions Education, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
