Beaconhouse Private School invites applications for a full-time Islamic Teacher to join its Al Ain campus in Abu Dhabi. This is a fixed-term position starting August 17, 2026, with an Final date to receive applications of August 16, 2026. The role specializes in Islamic Studies instruction for non-Arab learners across all grade levels, integrating the Cambridge curriculum framework with UAE Ministry of Education standards.
You will guide students in developing a meaningful understanding of Islamic principles and values through an accessible, culturally sensitive approach designed specifically for non-Arab audiences.
Key responsibilities- Delivering engaging Islamic Studies lessons aligned with Cambridge and UAE curricula
- Teaching Islamic principles and values in ways that are meaningful and accessible to non-Arab students
- Integrating modern educational technology to enhance instruction
- Fostering an inclusive, culturally diverse learning environment across all interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Islamic Studies, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of international school teaching experience
- Strong Islamic knowledge applicable to non-Arab student audiences
- IELTS Band 6 certification (mandatory)
- Full proficiency in English and Arabic
- Competency with educational technology tools
