Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE plans and procedures aligned with TAQA standards to ensure regulatory compliance and operational safety. Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses for all TAQA operations, identifying potential dangers and proposing effective mitigation strategies. Oversee and coordinate emergency response drills and training programs, ensuring personnel are prepared to handle critical incidents effectively. Monitor and evaluate HSE performance through regular inspections, audits, and data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions.
QualificationsPossesses a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, providing a strong academic foundation. Holds a recognized HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA), demonstrating a commitment to professional development and safety expertise. Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, showcasing a deep understanding of industry specific HSE challenges. Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of TAQA's procedures and guidelines, enabling effective implementation of safety protocols.
