Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient irrigation systems optimizing water usage for diverse agricultural and landscape projects.
- Conduct site assessments to analyze soil conditions, topography, and water availability informing system design decisions.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for irrigation infrastructure ensuring compliance with standards.
- Oversee the installation and construction of irrigation systems, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring quality workmanship.
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in irrigation system design, installation, and management.
- Proven expertise in hydraulic principles and water management practices within agricultural or landscape settings.
