Industrial Engineer - PMO

The Industrial Engineer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Center of Excellence project within the Aviation & Aero Engine MRO division. This position is responsible for designing and optimizing facility layouts, operational workflows, and workspace configurations that align with the centralized repair centre initiative. Working closely with the Project Manager and cross‑functional teams including operations, engineering, and facilities, the role ensures that operational requirements are effectively translated into efficient, safe, and productive environments.

The Industrial Engineer contributes to process mapping, value stream analysis, capacity planning, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational readiness, quality, and efficiency throughout the repair centre.

• Facility Layout Planning and Operational Flow Optimization: Develop and optimize layouts, workspace configurations, and operational flows to support construction, infrastructure, and readiness activities ensuring safety, productivity, and quality.
• Process Mapping and Workflow Analysis: Create current and future state process maps and value stream maps to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements for standardized operations.
• Operational Modelling and Capacity Analysis: Analyze workload, capacity, and utilization to support manpower and space planning, providing insights to improve throughput and resource allocation.
• Process Design Alignment: Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure process designs align with project milestones, infrastructure needs, and operational requirements.
• KPI Development and Performance Metrics: Develop operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to track performance trends and support management decision‑making.
• Continuous Improvement and Lean Implementation: Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to lead improvement initiatives, root cause analyses, and enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Project Reporting and Coordination: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations while maintaining coordination with diverse teams to support project governance and operational design.

We seek an experienced Industrial Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation MRO, repair centre operations, or technical operational environments is preferred, with demonstrated expertise in facility layout planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, proficiency in data analysis and dashboard development tools such as Excel and Power BI, and the ability to perform capacity and utilization analysis.

Excellent stakeholder coordination, analytical thinking, and technical communication skills are essential. Project management experience or certification is an advantage. The ideal candidate will be proactive in continuous improvement efforts and adept at aligning process design with project goals to ensure sustained operational excellence.
