Senior Estidama Engineer (PQP)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Estidama Engineer (PQP) to join our Construction Supervision Consultancy team for the Al Amerah Villas & Buildings Project in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Estidama sustainability requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the Abu Dhabi Pearl Rating System, Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) regulations, and project sustainability objectives.
The ideal candidate shall possess a valid Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) Certification and demonstrate extensive experience in the supervision and delivery of residential, villa, mixed-use, and building projects within the UAE.
Location: Al Ain, UAE
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage Estidama compliance activities throughout construction and project close-out stages.
- Review and monitor project compliance with Estidama Pearl Building Rating System requirements and DMT regulations.
- Coordinate with client representatives, design consultants, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders to achieve targeted Pearl Ratings.
- Review design changes, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for sustainability compliance.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure implementation of approved sustainable construction practices and Estidama commitments.
- Prepare, review, and manage Estidama documentation, credit submissions, compliance trackers, and sustainability reports.
- Conduct site inspections, sustainability audits, and compliance assessments.
- Liaise with DM, Abu Dhabi Municipality, and other relevant authorities regarding Estidama submissions, approvals, and certification requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Valid Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) Certification (Mandatory).
- Minimum 10–15 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years of UAE experience.
- Strong experience in villa, residential, mixed-use, and building construction projects within Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
- Previous experience with Engineering Consultancy, Construction Supervision Consultant, or PMC organizations is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Estidama Pearl Building Rating System, sustainable building design and construction practices, UAE building codes and construction standards, and experience working directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports, presentations, compliance documentation, and sustainability assessments.
- Experience on large-scale villa communities, residential developments, or mixed-use building projects in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong knowledge of construction supervision processes and authority approval procedures.
