General Practitioner; Arabic Speaking

Overview

Via Medica in association with International SOS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join a highly regarded university in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff while promoting a healthy and safe campus environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
• Valid DOH License as a General Practitioner (mandatory)
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in the UAE
• Previous experience in a school or university medical centre is highly preferred
• Experience in Medical Centers, Emergency, and/or Pediatric Departments is required
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient management skills

• Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care as required
• Promote preventive healthcare through health education and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and wellbeing of the university community
