We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physiatrist in Al Ain. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring rehabilitation care in a home-based setting, with a focus on improving functional ability, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
The role requires a valid DOH license and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Requirements- Valid DOH license is required.
- Medical degree with relevant specialization/qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Relevant clinical experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- Ability to assess and manage rehabilitation patients independently.
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience in home healthcare or home rehabilitation is an advantage.
- Assess and manage patients requiring physical medicine and rehabilitation services.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans based on patients' clinical and functional needs.
- Manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, mobility, and functional rehabilitation needs.
- Monitor patient progress and modify rehabilitation plans when clinically appropriate.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide guidance to patients and families regarding rehabilitation goals and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure care is delivered in accordance with applicable DOH requirements and organizational policies.
- Support a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to home rehabilitation.
