Location: Hospitals and Clinics across Al Ain
License Requirement: Valid Healthcare Assistant License
Shift Pattern: Rotational Morning and Evening Shifts
Days Off: 2 days per week (subject to shift schedules and operational requirements)
To support licensed clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care within regulatory guidelines, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care and support under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and comfort measures.
- Support patient safety initiatives and participate in intentional rounding.
- Uphold and advocate for patient rights and dignity at all times.
- Maintain and monitor Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) items and equipment within the unit.
- Assist with administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily unit operations.
- Adhere to infection prevention, quality, and safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training, education, and competency development activities.
- Diploma in Healthcare Assistance or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in an inpatient hospital or outpatient (OPD) setting as a Healthcare Assistant is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- UAE healthcare experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Client service orientation and patient-centered approach.
- Knowledge of CSSD basic functions.
- Understanding of manual handling and ergonomic principles.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Functional numerical literacy.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Hospital Settings: 9-hour rotational shifts.
- Clinic Settings: Similar rotational shifts; clinics are closed on Fridays.
- Weekly offs may vary based on shift schedules and operational requirements and may not always fall on fixed days.
