The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with organizational policies and unit scope of service. Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions, escalating care when needed, and ensuring safe medication administration following all regulatory and SEHA guidelines. The Staff Nurse is accountable for practicing within their scope of competence, complying with health and safety regulations, and reporting medication errors or adverse events as per policy.
