Overview
The College of Information Technology (CIT) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) has restructured to become the nexus of computing and informatics. CIT aims to advance science and technology innovation, building on research and expanding education with multidisciplinary programs.
About the PositionWe seek faculty candidates with a strong research record in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Informatics, emphasizing theoretical foundations and applications in fields such as Smart Health Systems, Cloud Computing, Business Intelligence, and Decision Support Systems. Successful candidates will complement and enhance current research and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching across programs.
Candidate QualificationsApplicants must hold a Ph.D. in computer science, information science, or closely related areas from a recognized university.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Established record of discipline-specific research publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences
- Demonstrated experience writing and securing grants and contracts
- Evidence of excellence in teaching and student supervision at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty across multiple departments and programs
Faculty rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
