Sr. Technician - Preform & Cap

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HUSKY HYPET, HYCAP, and Sidel blow molding machines to prevent unexpected failures.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using specialized tools and equipment and implement effective corrective actions.
• Calibrate, adjust, and repair sensors, actuators, drives, and control systems on blow molding machines.
• Monitor and maintain chillers to ensure optimal temperature control and prevent system failures.
• Service compressors by checking for leaks, lubricating parts, and replacing worn components to maintain air quality and pressure.
• Operate and maintain boiler systems, including pressure checks, burner adjustments, and safety valve testing to comply with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair motor drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and PLC‑controlled systems.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
• Maintain technical documentation, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and equipment manuals.
• Ensure all electrical wiring and mechanical installations comply with international safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machinery performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production losses.
• Implement energy‑saving measures and contribute to sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Participate actively in safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Continuously update technical knowledge through training and workshops.

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience with HUSKY HYPET, HYCAP, and Sidel blow molding machines.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, including chillers.
• Hands‑on experience with compressors and industrial boiler operations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Skilled with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, vibrometers, and thermal imaging cameras.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency call‑outs.
• Certification in relevant technical courses or safety training is an advantage.
