Chemist in El-Ain, UAE
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, experiments and analyses to develop new products or processes, optimize existing ones, and troubleshoot problems.
To be considered, the ideal candidate must have a degree in chemistry or a related field, laboratory experience, knowledge of computer programs used in scientific research, and ability to interpret data. Previous experience developing new products is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory research and experiments to develop or improve products and processes.
- Analyze samples and prepare reports summarizing results.
- Maintain accurate records and write technical papers.
- Participate in safety programs and make presentations at conferences or meetings.
- Provide technical advice to management about product development and design.
- Consult with suppliers about potential new products or modifications to existing ones.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and monitor developments in the field of chemistry.
Requirements:
- Degree in chemistry or related field.
- Laboratory experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and team-work ability.
- Ability to take directions from senior scientists while continuing own research projects.
This is a full-time position at 1,000 AED per month with flexible working hours that may include evenings or weekends depending on project deadlines. The Chemist will be provided with safety equipment such as lab coats, gloves, eye protection, and respirators as needed.
