The Role
The Shopping Experience Representative is pivotal in ensuring friendly and professional customer interactions at the Info desk. The role is responsible for accurate cash handling, providing a seamless shopping experience by assisting with shopping tools, and ensuring efficient service, particularly at the Returns & Exchange desk. The representative enhances customer satisfaction by resolving complaints promptly and courteously, maintaining service standards and contributing to an organized and welcoming store environment.
WhatYou Will Do Cash Handling
- Follow SOPs for cash handling, receiving payments via cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Compute and record transactions ensuring 100% accuracy for all register transactions.
- Count and record the float before and after trading to ensure accurate cash handling.
- Greet and welcome customers at the store, ensuring the availability of shopping tools and providing bags/trollies to facilitate the shopping journey.
- Respond to customer needs efficiently to minimize queues and ensure shoppers feel attended to.
- Handle routine customer complaints promptly and courteously for maximum satisfaction.
- Explain Smaland admission policy to families professionally, ensuring child safety is a priority.
- Make announcements and page customers if there are issues in the playroom or general needs arise.
- Ensure the Returns & Exchange policy is perceived as generous and efficient by customers.
- Handle returns and exchanges with judgment based on management's given authority to retain customers.
- Use Returns & Exchange information to report product faults, safety issues, or transportation problems to management.
- Prepare regular reports of transactions at the Returns & Exchange desk for reconciliation and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage and organize tasks efficiently.
The Role
- High School education.
- 2 years of experience in a similar customer service role.
- Proficiency in English, with knowledge of Arabic preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
