Job Description

• Provide social emotional and behavioral support to students in accordance with school policies and procedures
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate intervention and support plans
• Support students facing personal family social or academic challenges that may affect their wellbeing and learning
• Work collaboratively with parents teachers and school leadership to promote student welfare and positive outcomes
• Deliver counselling guidance and referral services where appropriate
• Maintain accurate confidential and up-to-date student records and case documentation
• Monitor student attendance behaviour and welfare concerns providing timely interventions when necessary
• Coordinate with external agencies and community services to support students and families
• Conduct awareness programmes and workshops related to student wellbeing safeguarding and personal development
• Support the school s safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with ADEK requirements

  Bachelor
• Teaching

  2+ years
• Licenses &

  Other Certification - DCD License
• Additional School Requirements:
  Bachelor's Degree (QFE Level
  7) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counselling or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Social Work or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social work, student welfare, counselling or a school-based support role.
• Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding and student wellbeing practices.
• Excellent communication, counselling and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff and external agencies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidential records and documentation.
• Relevant professional licensing requirements must be met where applicable.
