Social Worker - Liwa International School - Al Mushrif

• Provide social, emotional and behavioral support to students in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Assess student needs and develop appropriate intervention and support plans.
• Support students facing personal, family, social or academic challenges that may affect their wellbeing and learning.
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers and school leadership to promote student welfare and positive outcomes.
• Deliver counselling, guidance and referral services where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date student records and case documentation.
• Monitor student attendance, behaviour and welfare concerns, providing timely interventions when necessary.
• Coordinate with external agencies and community services to support students and families.
• Conduct awareness programmes and workshops related to student wellbeing, safeguarding and personal development.
• Support the school's safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with ADEK requirements.

• Additional School Requirements:
  Bachelor's Degree (QFE Level
  7) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counselling or a related field. Professional qualification in Social Work or a related discipline is preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social work, student welfare, counselling or a school-based support role. Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding and student wellbeing practices. Excellent communication, counselling and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff and external agencies.
  
  Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidential records and documentation. Relevant professional licensing requirements must be met where applicable.
